This is a challenging roll with great visibility as Technical Product Manager for the Synopsys Ethernet IP portfolio. In the Era of Smart Everything the Ethernet market continues to evolve to support diverse networking requirements from hyperscale datacenters to the immense multitude of devices at the Edge and moving all that data! The successful candidate will be responsible for driving integrated market focused Ethernet solutions by differentiating Synopsys products with integrated solutions, contributing to various Ethernet standards efforts such as the IEEE and UEC. The candidate will work closely with R&D, Management, customers, and the field to identify and drive the next generation of Ethernet IP solutions.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Drive the creation of solution focused Ethernet demos and supporting technical material providing differentiated solutions for market verticals.
  • Works with customers, R&D, application engineering, and cross functional management teams to contributing to the strategic vision and product plans.
  • Clearly capture and document customer requirements as part of pre-sales engagements.
  • Work with solutions engineers and product managers to create content for white papers, technical reviews, and case studies, showcasing expertise, benefits, offerings, to enhance understanding of our Ethernet solutions.
Requirements:
  • BS with 5+ years or MS with 3+ years of relevant experience in a technical roll in the Ethernet, datacenter or IP industries.
  • Technical orientation and understanding of Ethernet network architectures and the SoC design architectures and flows is important.
  • A solid understanding of semiconductor market and industry landscape for ASIC flows, system designs.
  • Energetic with a decisive style and attentiveness to customer and market trends.
  • High degree of initiative and responsiveness – capable of working independently or in collaboration in a matrix environment.
  • Excellent communication and public speaking skills.
