About the Role

As our Automation Engineer (Linux Guru), you'll be the maestro of our Linux and automation infrastructure, wielding your expertise to:
  • Design, build, and maintain highly scalable unique and reliable development and production environments.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and code.
  • Optimize system performance and troubleshoot complex Linux environments issues.
  • Develop and implement CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and delivery.
  • Collaborate with developers and operations teams to ensure smooth deployments and efficient workflows.
  • Stay ahead of the curve with the latest Linux technologies and trends.
You're the Perfect Candidate if You:
  • Have 7+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or System Administrator with a strong focus on Linux tools.
  • Possess a deep understanding of Linux internals, including the kernel interfaces, filesystem, networking, and process management.
  • Are proficient in shell scripting (Bash, Python) and programming languages like Python, Go and C.
  • Have experience with IaC tools like Terraform (nice to have).
  • Are familiar with CI/CD tools and methodologies (Bitbucket pipelines or GitHub pipelines).
  • Have a proven track record of building and automating infrastructure.
  • Enjoy troubleshooting complex technical problems and finding creative solutions.
  • Are a team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Have experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
Bonus Points if You:
  • Are familiar with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure and GCP.
  • Have a passion for open source software and a plus if you're a contributor to the community.
