Verification Application Engineers have abundant exposure to various design styles and verification methodologies that are being used in the industry today.
Application Engineer position gives you the opportunity to be part of a fantastic team working towards mutual goal of enabling customer successful.
This position enables you to work on new technology deployments, and critical issue resolution and become a key member in enabling customers adopt Synopsys solution.
They interface with Synopsys Research & Development and product development teams on issues that customers face in the field, recommended enhancements, Beta testing etc.
This position allows the candidate to learn the state-of-art verification flows/methodology and work on deployment of new age techniques involving Machine learning and Artificial Intelligence.
The position allows you to interface with industry leaders in chip design and verification. Allows ample opportunities to partner with them in solving their most critical challenges.
Required Skills:
This role requires 2-4 years of related experience.
The candidate should have good communication both verbal and written skills.
The candidate should be proficient with HDL programming languages (Verilog/VHDL/SystemVerilog), C/C++, Unix
The candidate should possess excellent debugging skills and should have experience in working with Industry standard Simulators, worked on regression analysis, developing testcases and debugging regression failures.
The person should be knowledgeable on Verification methodologies (OVM, UVM, VMM) and flows.
Desirable to have knowledge on Low power verification and Formal technologies.
Knowledge on industry standard protocols like USB, AMBA, PCIE is preferred. Good scripting skills using Python is preferred.
