You Are:

You are an experienced CAD Solution Engineer with a passion for developing and deploying advanced ASIC CAD methodologies. You thrive in dynamic environments and enjoy tackling complex challenges in EDA automation and flow optimization. With a strong background in electrical or computer engineering, you are proficient in scripting languages and have hands-on experience with Synopsys EDA tools. Your analytical skills, coupled with a drive for automation and optimization, make you a valuable asset to any team. You excel in communication, teamwork, and multitasking, and have experience working in cross-functional, multi-site environments.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Architecting and optimizing cutting-edge ASIC CAD methodologies from RTL to GDSII, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and robustness in advanced process nodes.
  • Developing AI-powered CAD agents to automate design flows, enhance predictive analytics, and improve decision-making in ASIC implementation.
  • Driving automation-first solutions, integrating advanced scripting and machine learning techniques to eliminate inefficiencies in traditional EDA workflows.
  • Collaborating with global R&D teams to evaluate, deploy, and enhance Synopsys EDA tools, such as Fusion Compiler, PrimeTime, IC Validator, and more.
  • Leading root-cause analysis and optimization of complex CAD flows, tackling performance bottlenecks, and improving convergence across digital design methodologies.
  • Defining next-generation CAD automation strategies, influencing tool development, and working closely with foundries to enable design innovations at advanced FinFET and GAAFET nodes.
  • Developing robust infrastructure and scripting frameworks for CAD flow automation using Python, TCL, and Shell scripting.

What You’ll Need:

  • BSEE/MSEE/PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in ASIC CAD flow development (experience with both front-end and back-end methodologies preferred).
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (TCL, Python, Perl, Shell) for CAD automation.
  • Experience in AI/ML applications for EDA or semiconductor design is a strong plus.
  • Hands-on experience with Synopsys EDA tools (Fusion Compiler, PrimeTime, IC Validator, etc.).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a passion for automation and optimization.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and multitasking abilities.
  • Experience working in a multi-site, cross-functional environment is a plus.
