Staff Development Engineer (R&D Engineering)

We are looking for an excellent software engineer for highly technical software product which helps our customers design, fabricate, and validate cutting edge VLSI chips. Software that we write helps our customer detect manufacturing defects. This is a very crucial aspect for making sure only the best ICs goes to devices. Our software is used by most of the big design houses. It’s a challenging domain where we regularly handle billion gate design, and we create optimized test vectors for testing the cutting edge VLSI chips that drives AI/Mobile/Automated-Cars etc.
Who we are looking for:
The right candidate should be a problem solver and open to accepting challenging tasks which would require programming, testing, and coordinating with multiple other engineers in the team. Also expected to learn fast from documents and existing source code and find ways to integrate new ideas and improve existing algorithms. Should write high quality software and always strive to improve existing software quality. As we work in a global organization, candidate is expected to have good communication skills (English is must) and should be open to interact with colleagues across different continents and time zones.
Educational requirements:
Masters/bachelor’s in engineering (Computer science & engineering, or Electronic Engineering, Electrical engineering) with very good grades.
Skill requirements:
- Proficient in programming in C/C++ languages
- Knowledgeable about data structures and algorithms
- Good understanding of “digital logic”
- Knowledge and understanding of digital circuits and devices.
Other requirements:
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Good verbal communication in English
- Good English writing skills
