IT Infrastructure Senior Engineer

As an IT Infrastructure Senior Engineer, you will be part of a core team that designs and executes IT infrastructure solutions for our global organization. You will work with other IT teams to ensure the availability, performance, and security of our corporate IT systems and services. You will also participate in various IT projects, such as migrations, upgrades, integrations, and deployments, and provide technical guidance and support to other engineers and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and maintain IT infrastructure components, such as Microsoft 365 Enterprise, business applications, network devices, cloud services, and virtualization platforms.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex IT issues and incidents, and provide root cause analysis and recommendations.
  • Monitor and optimize the IT infrastructure performance, capacity, and availability, and implement proactive measures to prevent issues and outages.
  • Develop and update IT infrastructure documentation, policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Evaluate and recommend new IT solutions and technologies that can improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our IT operations and services.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams and departments, such as engineering, product management, finance, HR, and operations, to understand their IT needs and requirements, and provide appropriate solutions and support.
  • Manage and execute IT projects, such as migrations, upgrades, integrations, and deployments, and ensure they are delivered on time, within budget, and according to specifications and standards.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to other IT engineers and staff, and share knowledge and best practices.
Key Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure engineering, administration, or support, preferably in a large and complex IT environment.
  • In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 Enterprise, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, and Azure AD.
  • Must have: SSO (Comprehensive planning and administration), Okta (Configuration & administration), IAM (Configuration & Operations), Identity Federation (Demonstratable knowledge) and SAML (Ability to utilize).
  • Familiarity with various business applications, such as ERP, CRM, BI, and HRIS, and their integration with Microsoft 365 and other IT systems.
  • Experience with networking technologies and protocols.
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms and services, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and their configuration, management, and security.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies and platforms, such as VMware, Hyper-V, or KVM, and their administration and optimization.
  • Experience with Linux and Windows server operating systems and administration, including scripting, automation, and security.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex IT problems, provide effective solutions and recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work well with different teams and stakeholders.
  • Relevant certifications, such as ITIL, MCSE, CCNA, AWS, or Azure, are an advantage.
