What You’ll Be Doing:
- Optimize existing GPU implementations for Mask Synthesis applications on curvilinear masks.
- Design new GPU-accelerated algorithms for large-scale geometric data handling.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of GPU features.
- Communicate with individuals both inside and outside the functional area.
- Lead benchmarking and performance testing initiatives.
- Actively follow GPU technology trends and integrate the latest advancements into the system.
The Impact You Will Have:
- Enhance the performance and efficiency of Mask Synthesis tools through GPU optimization.
- Enable rapid manufacturing of new chips by delivering optimal solutions to customers and hardware vendors.
- Drive innovation in the EDA industry with cutting-edge GPU-accelerated algorithms.
- Support the development of leading-edge ILT and OPC software.
- Contribute to the success of Synopsys by implementing strategic goals with direct impact on department results.
- Ensure the seamless integration of GPU features into existing systems, enhancing overall product performance.
What You’ll Need:
- M.S. or Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience working in large-scale software systems, ideally utilizing GPU-acceleration.
- Proficiency in CUDA, OpenCL, ROCm, or related technologies.
- Expertise in C++, Python, and distributed computing environments.
- Strong troubleshooting and collaboration skills.
