You Are:
You are a highly skilled and passionate CAD Engineer with a strong background in physical design and implementation. Your expertise in using Synopsys physical design and analysis tools, along with your ability to develop RTL-to-GDSII tool flows, sets you apart. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working across teams to optimize flows for productivity and design excellence. Your excellent communication skills enable you to effectively engage with customers, ensuring their needs are met with precision and care. With a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering and a minimum of 2 years of experience in driving RTL-to-GDSII Synopsys tools, you are ready to take on new challenges and make a significant impact. Your passion for technology and innovation drives you to continuously improve and stay ahead in the ever-evolving field of CAD engineering.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Contributing to the physical design and implementation segment of our SSG CAD team.
- Implementing CAD solutions critical to our SoC Design projects.
- Providing technical PD and flow contributions for our SSG CAD Team to build/maintain an SSG “standard” implementation flow.
- Leveraging Synopsys EDA tool reference flows, flow automation, DSO.ai, and Metrics/Analytics.
- Developing and optimizing the standard flow for design/foundry-specific requirements.
- Driving or assisting with services coordination at key foundries and internal IT/compute enablement.

- Supporting our customers in achieving their most challenging SoC design projects.
What You’ll Need:
- Proven experience using Synopsys physical design and analysis tools.
- Experience in developing RTL-to-GDSII tool flows.
- Ability to optimize flows for productivity and design optimization.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
- 2+ years of experience in driving RTL-to-GDSII Synopsys tools.
- Ability to obtain government security clearances if required.
