Job Description
As a Field Applications Engineer for the TCAD products, you will be the primary technicalinterface with customers. You will assist customers to evaluate, use, and apply TCADtools. As the product expert, you will work with R&D, sales, marketing and ourcustomers to help drive the development and acceptance of our TCAD products. Duties include both pre-sales and post-sales activities such as technical support of theproduct, managing new and existing customer relationships, technical training & presentation preparation and delivery, beta testing, benchmarking and onsite evaluationssupport as well as new feature specification. This exciting position affords the possibility to work with leading edge semiconductorcompanies using Synopsys’ state-of-the-art TCAD tools.
Minimum Requirements
The position requires a strong background in semiconductor manufacturing technologyand device physics. The typical candidate holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering or Physics and is familiarwith numerical methods. IT skills in Linux as well as Python and TCL scripting arenecessary.Three years of experience with TCAD simulation tools is required.
