Job Title: Firmware & Digital Design Engineering Intern 

Key Program Facts:

• Program Length:16 months for undergraduate (Bachelor’s) students. Duration can be flexible for Master’s students.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Developing firmware for PAM4 Serdes spanning PCIe and Ethernet protocols.
• Collaborating with various teams for firmware development and debugging.
• Verifying functional behavior through Verilog simulations.
• Implementing equalization algorithms and product features.
• Working on post-silicon bring-up to optimize hardware and algorithms.
• Using scripting languages to streamline development processes.
• Contribute to high-performance silicon chips for various computing devices.
• Enhance SoC capabilities in game consoles, smartphones, servers, etc.
• Support advanced Serdes PHY IP integration with embedded processors.
• Develop innovative product features and equalization algorithms.
• Collaborate on post-silicon bring-up for optimal performance.
• Reduce risk and time-to-market for differentiated products.

What You’ll Need:

• Proficiency in C and Verilog programming languages.
• Strong understanding of digital logic and firmware development.
• Experience with Verilog simulations.
• Scripting experience with Perl, Python, Bash, or Csh.
• Enrollment in relevant engineering program, please include transcripts with your resume.
