Key Responsibilities and Skills 

Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with IC design engineers, data scientists, and software developers to integrate genAI knowledge solutions seamlessly into existing tools and flows.

Prototype and Test: Develop copilot prototypes and conduct rigorous testing to validate the performance and effectiveness of genAI knowledge solutions.

Technical/hard skills needed

• 3+ years IP, ASIC, or hardware design experience (digital preferably);
• Python programming experience;
• Scripting skills (BASH, PowerShell, TCL);
• Electronic Engineering degree (Computer Science acceptable with IP, ASIC, or hardware design experience);
• 5+ years overall relevant experience;
• Familiarity with IP and ASIC design processes.

Desirable but not essential

• Experience in genAI application development;
• Experience working with XML or other documentation formats;
• A firm understanding of the working of and getting the most out of LLMs, RAG;
• Experience with Synopsys digital IP;

Soft skills and personality traits

• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills;
• Initiative-taker with little direction needed;
• Comfortable with ambiguity;
• Curious and thinks out of the box;

You will work alongside industry experts in EDA, semiconductor IP design, and AI, contributing to knowledge and productivity solutions that will assist engineers in IC design.
