The Product Operations Team seeks a talented Senior Data Operations Specialist to accelerate our Product Operations data flows definition, implementation, and compliance. 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Define, implement, and maintain Product Operations data structures and data pipelines.
  • Identify opportunities of improvement in existing SQL databases for performance and scalability.
  • Define, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and delivery of applications.
  • Document processes, system architectures and workflows to ensure knowledge transfer and continuity.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Collect up-to-date best-practices and new methodologies applicable to data related topics (modeling, governance, security, etc)

Key Requirements:

  • MSc degree in a quantitative discipline such as computer science, engineering, mathematics, or other related
  • Proficiency with SQL is mandatory.
  • Demonstrable experience in database management, including performance tuning and optimization.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages and automation tools such as Bash, Python, PowerShell.
  • Familiarity with data engineering tools such as Apache Airflow, Azure Data Factory and ETL processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, both to internal and external stakeholders. Proven ability to craft actionable messaging to peers.  
  • Exceptional interpersonal and teamwork skills. Willingness to manage and coordinate stakeholders across a global organization.
  • Passion for new problem solving and team cooperation to yield new ideas and proposals, with peers who challenge you to be better.
  • The desire to meet and exceed measurable performance goals. And the ability to deal with and thrive on objections.

Preferred Experience

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in data modeling and data warehousing platforms.
  • Focus on deliver state-of-art data solutions always following up-to-date best practices.
  • Work experience in multicultural environment/international company is a plus.
  • Previous experience in Consulting role(s) is also a plus.
