Analog Design Engineer- Staff

Job Overview

 The successful candidate will work on Characterization, CAD views generation and Packaging of General purpose and Specialty IOs. The candidate is expected to independently drive the generation and validation methodologies for different views like .lib (NLDM/NLPM, CCST/P/N, variation modelling etc), APL, CMM, BPA, Verilog, ATPG, NDM, LEF, IBIS etc. Candidate would also be required to create, validate and release these IP packets in time and with highest quality and mentor team members on various flows and methodologies.

 Responsibilities and Duties
 * Setup the generation and validation flow methodologies for different EDA views.
 * Independently handle the complete Characterization, packaging, QA and release process.
 * Ensure high quality and timely deliverables
 * Ensure the downstream flow compliance of different views
 * Define specifications for automation to be done by Software team
 * Explore new views and flows across different technologies and foundries and drive their implementation in our development environment.
 * Interacts with Design and layout teams to understand the design and flow requirements
 * Analyze customer issues and provide timely resolution

 Qualifications
 * B.Tech/BE/M.Tech/MS in Electronics Engineering
 * 4+ years of experience in IP characterization and packaging
 * Prior experience of setting IP Characterization and EDA views generation and validation methodologies/flows is must 
 * Very good understanding of both Electrical and Physical views is must
 * Working experience of design simulation environment is preferred
 * Hands-on experience on one or more scripting languages is preferred.
 * Basic understanding of IO designs is preferred
 * Experience of Digital implementation flows where the IP views are used is a plus
