Join a team of cross-functional, world-class SerDes developers encompassing digital, analog, firmware and system design engineers. The position offers an excellent opportunity to work with an expert team of engineers responsible for delivering high-end mixed-signal designs from specification development to prototype test-chips and state-of-the-art IP products.

We’re looking for an experienced FW developer with a strong interest for a customer-facing role. As products reach maturity and are shipped to customers, you will be the first line of response to customer-sourced incidents and requests, taking on the role of a technical point of contact for specific customers. You will play a fundamental part to quickly and proactively react to customer-raised incidents and requests.  

As part of the firmware team, you will be involved throughout the entire firmware development life cycle and exposed to the entire FW design, processes and flows.

Main responsibilities:

In this role you will:

  • Collect all the relevant information regarding the context and the nature of the detected anomalies
  • Translate the observed anomalies in the context of the product HW and FW design
  • When applicable, design and test hotfixes to be delivered to customers as quickly as possible
  • Cooperate with other FW team members to design and test anomaly fixes
  • Effectively communicate with customers to collect the relevant information and to understand their business impact
  • Assess criticality, update priorities, create and execute response plans for every detected anomaly
  • Provide feedback to customers about the identified response plan


Key Qualifications:

  • BSEE or MSEE preferably in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
  • Proficiency with the C programming language
  • Good knowledge of build systems based on GNU make
  • Familiarity with HW design languages (preferably: Verilog)
  • Relevant experience with the development of bare-metal embedded firmware
  • Experience with customer-facing roles
