You Are:
You are a highly motivated and innovative FPGA engineer with a strong theoretical and practical background in FPGA design. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working alongside a team of experts to drive new developments in state-of-the-art emulation systems. You have a keen technical mind, an eye for detail, and a robust methodology for handling complex situations and scenarios.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Providing technical customer support for Synopsys Emulation platform on FPGA compiling/building.
- Troubleshooting issues and coordinating fixes on FPGA development.
- Understanding complex technical challenges and demonstrating a strong problem-solving attitude.
- Developing a strong understanding of customer objectives and identifying their needs.
- Partnering with customer technical leaders to develop effective technical solutions based on the Synopsys emulation platform.
- Interacting with R&D to influence Synopsys products and feature development to increase competitiveness.
- Working in an international environment.

What You’ll Need:
- Proficiency in Verilog, HDL language, and FPGA design (Vivado, Quartus, etc).
- Knowledge of simulation and verification methodologies (VCS simulator, UVM/OVM).
- Expertise in FPGA timing closure and area/timing optimization techniques.
- Experience with place & route of FPGA and handling congestion.
- Hands-on experience with the bring-up of FPGA designs.
- Knowledge of ASIC and FPGA design flows is desirable.
- Excellent organization and communication skills for interacting between different design groups.
- Working knowledge of UNIX, Tcl, and/or any other scripting language.
