You Are:

You are a seasoned engineer with a passion for custom design and a deep understanding of analog design flows. With over 15 years of experience, you have honed your skills in creating and supporting custom design flows using industry-standard tools. You excel in working collaboratively with customers to understand their requirements and translating them into effective solutions. Your expertise spans across advanced custom layout flows, simulation environments, parasitic extraction techniques, and mixed signal design. You are proficient in scripting languages such as TCL, Python, Perl, or SKILL, and have a knack for developing custom scripts to enhance customer productivity. You thrive in a dynamic environment, enjoy tackling complex challenges, and are eager to contribute to cutting-edge developments in custom design solutions.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Promote adoption of Synopsys Custom Design Platform to new customers by delivering presentations and demos.
  • Work with customers to understand their flow requirements and map them to features within Synopsys Custom Design Platform.
  • Define Analog Design flows and methodologies to improve customer productivity.
  • Develop custom scripts for features specific to a given customer or to provide a quick solution while the features are being enhanced.
  • Own the customer relationship, working with R&D and other teams to ensure customer requirements are well understood and track the development of required features.

What You’ll Need:

  • BE/MTech in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering.
  • 12+ years of experience creating and supporting custom design flows using Custom Compiler or equivalent industry-standard tools.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Custom/Analog design flows.
  • Experience in coding medium-sized software solutions for custom design problems.
  • Expertise in one or more areas like advanced custom layout flows, simulation environments, parasitic extraction techniques, mixed signal design, memory design, or automatic custom placement and routing.
  • Proficiency in scripting/programming languages such as TCL, Python, Perl, or SKILL.

The Custom Design Solutions Team is part of Synopsys EDA Group. We work with top-tier Synopsys customers to deploy high-quality Custom/Analog Design Solutions and Flows on the latest process nodes. The team works across the spectrum of design including front-end, simulation, back-end, and verification flows. We believe in fostering interest and opportunities to work in different aspects of the design spectrum. You will get the right platform to apply design knowledge and architect and develop Custom Design solutions.
