We partner closely with our customers across a wide range of industries to maximize their R&D capability and productivity, powering innovation today that ignites the ingenuity of tomorrow.

You Are

You have spent years in the engine room of sales, where the difference between a deal closing on time and slipping a quarter often comes down to someone who knows how to move paper, spot a missing signature, and get the right people in the room before it becomes a problem. You understand that sales operations is not administrative support, it is the infrastructure that lets account managers actually sell instead of drowning in process.

You are the person who looks at a quote request and immediately knows which approvals it needs, which terms will trigger a legal review, and how to route it so it does not sit in someone's inbox for three days. When Salesforce data does not match what finance is seeing, you do not escalate, you dig in, find the discrepancy, and fix it before it becomes a reporting issue.

You like being the person people come to when something is stuck. Not because you have all the answers, but because you know how to ask the right questions, pull the right levers, and keep things moving without creating chaos downstream. At Synopsys, you will work across account managers, legal, finance, and technical teams to make sure deals move and revenue lands where it should.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Work directly with sales reps to prepare, review, and push sales orders and workflow processes through to completion
  • Research account history, pricing exceptions, and order patterns in Salesforce to build accurate quote proposals
  • Draft and finalize contracts that meet internal policy and legal standards, coordinating with legal and business ops as needed
  • Serve as the go-to contact for customers on order status, account setup, and license configuration questions
  • Coordinate post-order work like revenue reconciliation, order splits, and ensuring all paperwork matches what finance expects
  • Meet regularly with account managers to review pipeline, flag potential blockers, and proactively smooth the path to close
  • Partner with technical teams to troubleshoot portal access issues, license installations, and customer onboarding snags

The Impact You Will Have

  • You will reduce deal cycle time by catching issues early and routing approvals efficiently
  • You will improve data accuracy across Salesforce, finance systems, and reporting dashboards that leadership relies on
  • You will enable account managers to spend more time selling and less time chasing internal approvals
  • You will build trust with customers by being responsive, accurate, and clear about what happens next
  • You will identify process bottlenecks and drive automation or workflow improvements that scale across the team
  • You will ensure compliance with company policy and legal requirements on every deal, reducing risk and rework
  • You will strengthen collaboration between sales, finance, legal, and operations through clear communication and follow-through

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or a related field
  • At least 3 years in sales operations, sales support, or deal desk roles, ideally in an IT or software company
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms, and a solid understanding of Quote to Cash workflows
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for analysis, reporting, and stakeholder presentations
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills, comfortable working in a global business environment
  • Experience with IT sector sales operations is a plus, especially if you have worked with software licensing or subscription models

Who You Are

  • You can juggle five open deals at once without losing track of which one needs legal review and which one is waiting on a PO
  • You do not wait to be told what to do, if an order is stuck, you find out why and unstick it
  • You treat confidential pricing, contract terms, and customer data with the seriousness it deserves
  • You can explain a complex order issue to a frustrated account manager in two sentences and walk away with a clear next step
  • You are comfortable shifting priorities when a deal suddenly accelerates or a customer escalates an issue
  • You build relationships across teams because you know that getting things done depends on people trusting you to follow through

The Team You'll Be Part Of

You will join a collaborative Deal Operations team that works closely with account managers, legal, finance, and technical staff across Synopsys. The team is focused on delivering accurate, timely sales and order management support while driving continuous improvement in processes and systems. You will contribute to a culture of knowledge sharing, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction, supporting Synopsys growth in Japan and the broader region.

Rewards and Benefits

We offer a comprehensive range of health, wellness, and financial benefits to cater to your needs. Our total rewards include both monetary and non-monetary offerings. Your recruiter will provide more details about the salary range and benefits during the hiring process.
