Our Hardware Engineers at Synopsys are responsible for designing and developing cutting-edge semiconductor solutions. They work on intricate tasks such as chip architecture, circuit design, and verification to ensure the efficiency and reliability of semiconductor products. These engineers play a crucial role in advancing technology and enabling innovations in various industries.
Job Description
We are looking for self-motivated, creative, energetic person to join our team in Armenia. The successful candidate will be part of the methodology team which is responsible for defining and aligning development and verification practices across cross-functional teams in a large multi-site organization.
Key qualifications:
- Bachelor’s/master’s degree in electrical engineering or in relevant field.
- 5 years of related experience with good knowledge in the full SOC Design Cycle with a focus on Physical Design.
- Broad knowledge of EDA industry and modern Semiconductor ecosystem
- Understanding of IP design flows
- Microsoft Office advanced skill set: mainly
- Professional PowerPoint presentations
- MS Word to create attractive Newsletters
- Automated Excel spreadsheets with data-mining capability
- SharePoint pages with advanced design
- Strong individual contributor who is also a team player with the high responsibility to take task ownership
- Automation awareness, knowledge in databases and having ideas about data integrity is a plus
- Proficient level of English language.
Main Responsibilities:
- Drive the complete digital implementation from RTL to GDS including Synthesis, Floor Planning, Power Analysis and Planning, Placement and Routing, Physical Verification
- Research and develop new tools/flows which can enhance the teams’ productivity
- Ability to create (from scratch) high quality documentation which will be used across the organization
