We’re looking for an experienced R&D Engineer to join software modernization team at Synopsys. The candidate will design and develop software that will accelerate viewing, editing and processing computer-aided design of the next generation of microchips worldwide.

Key Qualifications
  • Experience on development of complex software projects, proficient in C/C++ coding, and a solid background in data structures and algorithms.
  • Familiarity with design patterns.
  • Familiarity with Qt library.
  • Knowledge of Linux.
  • Experience in system-level software programming is a plus, but not required.
  • Experience in scalable multicore and distributed programming is a plus.
  • Prior experience with EDA/CAD tools development/usage is a plus, but not required.
  • Previous experience in working on critical projects.
  • Desire to learn and explore new technologies.
  • Demonstrate good investigation and problem-solving skills.
  • MS/PhD with at least 6-8 years of related experience.
