You Are:
You are a seasoned Application Engineer with a passion for physical verification and a knack for solving complex technical challenges. With a solid background in VLSI or Computer Science, you have hands-on experience in using physical verification tools such as Synopsys IC Validator (ICV), Calibre, or PVS. You excel at understanding customer requirements and translating them into efficient, scalable solutions. Your proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Perl, Shell, or TCL allows you to automate processes and improve runset development. You thrive in collaborative environments, providing technical guidance and working seamlessly with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Interfacing with foundry/customers to understand their requirements and collaborating with internal teams to implement them.
- Reviewing project schedules and aligning plans to ensure timely project completion.
- Proposing and executing smart technical solutions for tool or runset improvements through automation.
- Providing technical guidance to the team to deliver high-quality runsets within release schedules.
- Making technical proposals, assessments, and decisions to identify the best course of action for customer satisfaction.
- Setting up appropriate processes and development frameworks to consistently deliver good quality runsets.
- Collaborating with other teams, potentially including product teams like StarRC, to enhance runset quality or reduce release schedules.

What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in VLSI or Computer Science with 6+ years of related experience.
- Thorough understanding of physical verification and hands-on experience with tools like ICV, Calibre, or PVS.
- Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in runset development.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Perl, Shell, or TCL.
- Experience with software development processes: project planning, version control, bug tracking.
