Responsibilities:
-the individual will be responsible for performing activities related to quality assurance of the mask synthesis products.
-these tools include model generation/validation, optical proximity correction (opc) and resolution enhancement technology (ret) applications.
-the individual will work closely with R&D to coordinate changes and will collaborate with other teams, such as techpubs, PE teams and filed AE team to deliver on time quality releases through continuous improvements to the testing and development processes.
- primary responsibilities include design, implementation, and execution of application specific functional tests at module and function levels; review and analysis of product functional specifications; defect reporting, analysis and tracking; active involvement in customer oriented testing; and participation in product release end-game activities.

Requirements:
- at least BS/MS in electrical/computer science engineering or equivalent, plus a minimum 8 years working experience.
- the individual must be proficient in a unix/linux environment; knowledge of automated shell scripting (python, perl, tcl/tk) desired.
- previous experience in lithographic applications, Electronic Design Automation (EDA), IC design or physical verification preferred.
- previous experience in Inverse Lithographic Technology (ILT) will be highly preferred.
