We're looking for a solutions engineer to be a part of the rapidly expanding Hardware Analytics and Test (HAT) business unit at Synopsys. They would be responsible for quality, validation and debug of EDA technologies in the area of Automotive/Hierarchical Test and other core areas in Design For Test. Opportunity to work with experts worldwide and influence the next generation EDA flow.
  • B.E / B.Tech/ M. Tech. in Electronic & Communication / Computer Science Engineering with 1yrs-4yrs of relevant industry experience
    Job Responsibilities:
  • Ensure high quality product by designing test plans and test processes for Design-For-Test features including end-to-end flows
  • Analyze the architecture, user flows and corner cases to define automation requirements, with focus to ensure correct-by-construction code
  • Design automation test suite that performs quality checks and measures test metrics
    Track defects and perform root cause analysis and work with the development teams for resolution
  • Implement test scripts with measurable test coverage
  • Compile and publish the report of coverage and quality metrics
    Collaborate with domain experts to improve the Product quality
    Skills:
  • Sound knowledge of frontend digital design concepts, ASIC flows and EDA tools
  • Experience in RTL design and coding experience in Verilog, system Verilog, VHDL etc
  • Knowledge in Design for Test (DFT) technologies and concepts
  • Sound debugging and problem-solving skills and testing scripts and tool
  • Software testing methodology, writing and execution of test plans
  • Strong desire to learn new technologies and demonstrates attention to detail
  • Experience in writing automation scripts using Python, TCL and perl
  • Understanding of C/C++ is desirable
  • Hands-on Experience with SpyGlass is an added advantage
