We Are
Synopsys is the leader in engineering solutions from silicon to systems, enabling customers to rapidly innovate AI-powered products. We deliver industry-leading silicon design, IP, simulation and analysis solutions, and design services. We partner closely with our customers across a wide range of industries to maximize their R&D capability and productivity, powering innovation today that ignites the ingenuity of tomorrow.
You Are
You have spent years building enterprise systems that actually solve business problems, not just demonstrate technical capability. You understand that the real challenge is not deploying an AI model, it is designing the solution architecture that makes it trustworthy, scalable, and maintainable across Finance, HR, Sales Operations, and Legal teams who need it to work every single day. You think in systems, not features. When someone describes a manual process, you are already mapping the integration points, data flows, governance requirements, and failure modes before they finish talking.
You are equally comfortable whiteboarding an agentic AI architecture with a VP of Finance and writing Python code to integrate Azure OpenAI with SAP. You have built enough automation solutions to know when a workflow needs intelligent document processing versus a simple API call, and you can explain that tradeoff clearly. You do not wait for perfect requirements. You ask the right questions, prototype quickly, and iterate with stakeholders who may not speak your technical language but absolutely know their business pain.
At Synopsys, you will architect AI and automation solutions that reduce manual work for 30,000 employees across critical business functions, and the platform you build will matter.
What You'll Be Doing
- Design and build enterprise AI solutions using Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Document Intelligence, Azure AI Search, and Copilot Studio that automate Finance, Sales Operations, HR, Order Management, and Legal processes
- Architect and develop agentic AI systems and intelligent automation workflows on UiPath, Power Automate, Azure Logic Apps, and Azure Functions that integrate with SAP, Salesforce, Oracle, SuccessFactors, and Workday
- Lead end-to-end solution delivery from requirements gathering and architecture design through development, testing, deployment, and production support
- Build reusable frameworks, integration patterns, and engineering standards for AI agent development that other developers can adopt across the enterprise automation portfolio
- Partner directly with business stakeholders in Finance, GTM, HR, and Operations to identify automation opportunities, assess feasibility, prioritize initiatives, and translate requirements into technical solutions
- Establish and enforce governance, security, Responsible AI practices, and DevOps standards using Azure DevOps or GitHub for CI/CD and source control
- Mentor developers on AI solution design, Azure architecture, integration patterns, and automation best practices
The Impact You Will Have
- Reduce manual effort across Finance, Sales Operations, HR, and Order Management by deploying AI-powered automation that handles document processing, data extraction, workflow orchestration, and decision support at scale
- Accelerate Synopsys' enterprise AI strategy by establishing reusable frameworks and patterns that enable faster, more consistent delivery of intelligent automation solutions across business functions
- Improve operational accuracy and compliance by building governed, auditable AI systems with proper security controls, error handling, and monitoring
- Enable business growth without proportional headcount increases by creating scalable automation platforms that handle increasing transaction volumes and process complexity
- Strengthen cross-functional collaboration by translating technical capabilities into business value that Finance, HR, and Operations leaders can understand and trust
- Build institutional knowledge and capability by mentoring developers and establishing engineering standards that raise the quality and maintainability of the entire automation portfolio
- Drive measurable ROI through solutions that demonstrably save time, reduce errors, and improve process efficiency in production environments
What You'll Need
- Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- 8-12+ years building enterprise applications, automation solutions, or integration platforms, with at least 3 years working directly with AI or Generative AI technologies in production environments
- Deep hands-on experience with Azure AI Services including Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Document Intelligence, and Azure AI Search, plus Azure Integration Services like Logic Apps, Functions, Service Bus, and API Management
- Proven ability to design and deploy intelligent automation using platforms like UiPath, Power Automate, Power Apps, Copilot Studio, and Dataverse
- Strong development skills in Python, C#, and JavaScript, with solid understanding of REST APIs, SOAP, webhooks, SQL, and data modeling
- Direct experience integrating enterprise applications such as SAP, Salesforce, Oracle, SuccessFactors, or Workday in complex business environments
- Working knowledge of AI governance, Responsible AI practices, cloud security, DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and source control using Azure DevOps or GitHub, experience with JIRA for project management is a plus
Who You Are
- You can sit in a room with a Finance Director who describes a month-end close process and walk out with a solution architecture that addresses the real bottleneck, not just the symptom they mentioned
- You write code that other developers can actually maintain, you document your integration patterns, you build error handling that helps operations teams diagnose issues without calling you at midnight
- You push back when a stakeholder asks for an AI agent but the problem actually needs a well-designed workflow, and you can explain why in terms they understand and respect
- You have shipped enough production systems to know that governance, security, and supportability are not afterthoughts, they are design constraints you bake in from the start
- You mentor junior developers by showing them how you think through a problem, not just handing them the answer, and you genuinely care about raising the technical capability of the team
- You stay current with AI and automation technology not because it is trendy but because you know the difference between a useful new capability and vendor hype, and you can evaluate both critically
The Team You'll Be Part Of
You will join the Enterprise Agentic Process Automation team, which drives business transformation through AI, intelligent automation, process optimization, and enterprise integration. The team delivers capabilities across Finance, Sales Operations, Order Management, HR, Business Operations, and other functions, with emphasis on operational efficiency, scalability, governance, and innovation. Current initiatives include AI agents, document intelligence, finance automation, process orchestration, and enterprise platform integrations. The team operates in Bengaluru and collaborates closely with business stakeholders and IT teams across Synopsys globally.
