What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Providing advanced technical and product evaluation support for key customers worldwide, acting as a trusted advisor throughout the engagement.
  • Collaborating closely with Synopsys customers, R&D, and Product Engineering teams to define, enhance, and deploy innovative debug features and capabilities during all phases of customer design bringup.
  • Driving deep root cause analysis (RCA) related to emulation debug and runtime performance, ensuring rapid resolution of complex issues.
  • Enhancing and streamlining the verification process for SoC designs to deliver robust, reliable, and high-performing products.
  • Fostering strong collaborations with stakeholders, including strategic sales and support teams, to ensure customer success and satisfaction.
  • Contributing actively to the deployment and adoption of cutting-edge emulation platforms and technologies across customer engagements.
  • Supporting key customers in maximizing the value of Synopsys emulation solutions through expert guidance, training, and best practices.
  • Driving continuous innovation and process improvement within the team and organization to maintain Synopsys’ leadership in the market.

What You’ll Need:

  • Extensive hands-on experience in emulation of ASIC and SoC designs, with a deep understanding of industry-standard emulation platforms.
  • Expertise in runtime and debug methodologies, including advanced techniques such as signal monitoring, state dump, full state visibility, trace buffer technology, waveform dump, and reconstruction.
  • Proven ability to perform thorough root cause analysis (RCA) of emulation and verification challenges, driving to rapid and sustainable solutions.
  • Strong track record of collaborating with diverse stakeholders, including customers, R&D, sales, and engineering teams.
  • Experience supporting both pre-sales and post-sales activities, with customer-savvy communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Working knowledge of RTL verification and early software bringup flows.
  • 8+ years of relevant experience with Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field; PhD a plus.
