You Are:

You are a technically adept engineer with a deep understanding of static timing analysis and a passion for helping others succeed. You thrive in dynamic, customer-centric environments and are energized by the opportunity to solve complex challenges in advanced chip design. Your expertise in EDA tools, especially Synopsys PrimeTime, allows you to confidently guide customers through both technical evaluations and real-world deployment scenarios. You bring a methodical, detail-oriented approach to troubleshooting and are equally comfortable collaborating with internal engineering teams or presenting product advantages to customers. You are an excellent communicator, able to explain intricate technical concepts in clear, accessible language for diverse audiences. Your curiosity drives you to stay on top of industry trends and continuously expand your knowledge in synthesis, physical design, and related domains. Adaptable and resourceful, you excel at balancing multiple priorities, whether supporting a critical tape-out or leading a training session. Your previous customer-facing experience has honed your ability to build trust and foster long-term relationships, making you a sought-after advisor for both customers and colleagues. Above all, you are motivated by the impact your work has on accelerating innovation and shaping the next generation of silicon technology.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Providing expert-level support for PrimeTime, Synopsys’ industry-leading Static Timing Analysis (STA) tool, to both prospective and existing customers.
  • Leading competitive product benchmarks and technical evaluations, demonstrating PrimeTime’s advantages to customer design teams and management.
  • Delivering customer training sessions and workshops, enabling teams to maximize their productivity and achieve successful tape-outs.
  • Collaborating with R&D, marketing, and sales to relay customer feedback and help drive product enhancements and innovation.
  • Supporting customers through advanced timing analysis challenges, including timing corners, process variations, and signal integrity issues.
  • Developing and maintaining technical documentation, application notes, and best practices for internal and external use.
  • Engaging in pre-sales and post-sales activities, building long-term relationships and ensuring high customer satisfaction.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with 5-7 years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree (MSEE or equivalent) with 4-6 years of experience.
  • Hands-on experience and in-depth knowledge of Synopsys PrimeTime or similar STA tools.
  • Solid understanding of timing corners, modes, process variations, and signal integrity concepts.
  • Familiarity with synthesis, physical design, extraction, and ECO methodologies.
  • Strong proficiency in TCL scripting for automation and workflow optimization.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to interact effectively with customers and internal teams.
