You Are:

You are a passionate and experienced ASIC Digital Design Verification engineer with a strong background in VLSI IP verification, particularly in complex protocols. You have a keen eye for detail and are adept at problem-solving, making you a valuable asset in a multi-site, project-oriented environment. Your technical prowess is complemented by your ability to mentor junior engineers, and you thrive in roles that challenge your leadership skills. With a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering and 3-4 years of relevant experience, you are well-versed in verification methodologies such as UVM, VMM, or OVM. Your hands-on experience with System Verilog, simulation tools, and scripting languages like Perl or Shell makes you an ideal candidate for this role.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Understand standard specifications, functional specifications, and feature enhancements for the product.
  • Create micro-architecture and detailed design for components of the Test Environment for the DesignWare family of synthesizable cores in protocol areas such as AMBA (AMBA2, AXI, AHB), DDR, PCIe, Ethernet, USB, and MIPI.
  • Contribute as an individual in verification tasks – architecting testbenches, coding, debugging, verification, and coverage improvement.
  • Participate in technical reviews of TE Code of small and medium complexity.
  • Contribute to technical processes and quality improvements to achieve high-quality deliveries.
  • Analyze coverage metrics and improve them by defining additional test cases in a CRV environment.
  • Work in a project and team-oriented environment with teams spread across multiple sites worldwide.
  • Potentially take on the role of technical lead for components of the Test Environment, mentoring junior engineers and interns.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with 3-4 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in verification of IP Cores or SoC Designs for various applications.
  • Knowledge of protocols such as USB, AMBA (AMBA2, AXI, AHB), Ethernet, DDR, PCIe, and MIPI.
  • Hands-on experience with methodologies like UVM, VMM, or OVM for creating detailed designs of Test Environment components.
  • Proficiency in System Verilog coding, simulation tools, and scripting languages like Perl or Shell.

You will be part of the Solutions Group at our Bangalore Design Center, India. This team focuses on VLSI IP verification of controllers related to complex protocols. The team is spread across multiple sites worldwide, offering a collaborative and dynamic work environment. This position provides ample learning and growth opportunities, allowing you to work on technically challenging IP Cores in the Verification domain.
