You Are:
You are a seasoned professional with a passion for CAD engineering, quality assurance, and automation. With a strong background in electrical engineering and extensive experience in design, methodology, and EDA solutions, you bring a deep understanding of digital, analog, and mixed-signal IC design flows. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working seamlessly with cross-functional teams to develop and implement innovative design methodologies and automation frameworks. Your expertise in fast-spice simulation, circuit simulation debug skills, and proficiency with software development using Python, Perl, TCL, SKILL, and Shell sets you apart. What You’ll Be Doing:
- Contribute to the development of automation flows to streamline the IP Development process, covering development, QA, release, and maintenance of IP.
- Engage in continuous improvement of efficiency and quality of flows.
- Design and develop comprehensive automation frameworks and methodologies for VLSI design.
- Work with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and implement solutions.
- Conduct thorough testing and validation of automation processes to ensure reliability and accuracy.
- Collaborate with team members on new EDA flow introductions and enhancements.
- Develop and deploy design methodologies as internal and external tools, flows, and technology requirements evolve.
- Lead tool evaluation, tool selection, deployment, support, and flow development.

What You’ll Need:
- BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering with 7+ years of relevant industry experience.
- Strong experience in design, methodology, and EDA solutions for leading-edge digital, analog, and mixed-signal SOC chip design.
- Deep understanding of modern digital, analog, and mixed-signal IC design flows and commonly used IPs.
- Demonstrated experience with multiple CAD flows: design, verification, backend, validation, etc.
- Knowledge and industry experience in fast-spice simulation and circuit simulation debug skills.
- Experience identifying and driving future projects/flows while working closely with design engineers.
- Proficiency with industry EDA tools and technologies.

- Knowledgeable in web technologies and big data.

- Experience in PVT-sensors and/or DFT/DFx technologies and concepts is a strong plus.
The Team You’ll Be A Part Of:
As a member of the rapidly expanding Hardware-Analytics and Test (HAT) business unit, you will be part of the CAD team chartered with SHG India’s overall design flow and EDA tool strategy and methodology. The team is dedicated to developing and supporting next-generation digital and mixed-signal design flows, and IP management. You will work closely with a diverse group of highly skilled professionals, collaborating to scale operations during the organization’s accelerated growth phase.
