You Are:
You are a passionate and experienced Automotive Electrical/Electronic Engineer with a deep understanding of functional safety in automotive systems. You thrive in dynamic environments, enjoy tackling complex technical challenges, and possess a strong customer-focused mindset. Your expertise in ISO 26262 and related safety standards enables you to confidently advise clients and partners on best practices, tool adoption, and implementation strategies. You excel at building credibility with diverse stakeholders, from OEMs to tier-one suppliers and engineering service providers, and you are comfortable presenting, demonstrating, and engaging in technical discussions. You are a collaborative team player who values continuous learning, and you are eager to expand your knowledge into emerging domains like SOTIF and automotive cybersecurity. What You’ll Be Doing:
- Establishing credibility with customers by acting as the primary technical advisor for deep engagements on functional safety and Ansys medini analyze.
- Delivering compelling product presentations, demonstrations, and technical discussions to showcase the advantages of Ansys medini analyze.
- Consulting and advising clients on system implementation, ensuring adherence to technical standards and safety requirements (ISO 26262, ARP 4761, EN 50128).
- Providing expert guidance and addressing customer queries on tool usage, functional safety lifecycle, and technical implementations.
- Partnering with channel application engineers to accelerate their onboarding, proficiency, and successful adoption of Ansys medini analyze.
- Collaborating across sales, R&D, marketing, channel partners, and customers on functional safety initiatives and technical proof-of-concept projects.
- Conducting hands-on workshops, webinars, and trainings to educate customers and partners on tool usage and best practices.
- Acquiring knowledge and supporting related areas such as SOTIF and cybersecurity, expanding the breadth of customer solutions.

What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics & Communications, Automotive Electronics, Computer Science, Embedded Systems, or related field.
- 4–10 years of experience in automotive functional safety or related domains.
- Deep knowledge of ISO 26262 and proven experience implementing functional safety processes in automotive environments (OEM, Tier Supplier, or Engineering Service Provider).
- Familiarity with the complete functional safety lifecycle, including FSC, TSC, tool qualification, audits, and assessments.
- Expertise in reliability analysis (failure prediction, FMEDA, DC analysis) and ability to address technical queries.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English, with strong customer-facing communication skills.
- Motivation to engage and collaborate with customers, delivering high-impact solutions.
- Desirable: Knowledge of automotive system domains (steering, powertrain, ADAS), virtual sensor simulation, model-based design, familiarity with safety standards in aerospace/rail/industrial, and cybersecurity/SOTIF analysis.
