We Are

Synopsys is the leader in engineering solutions from silicon to systems, enabling customers to rapidly innovate AI-powered products. We deliver industry-leading silicon design, IP, simulation and analysis solutions, and design services. We partner closely with our customers across a wide range of industries to maximize their R&D capability and productivity, powering innovation today that ignites the ingenuity of tomorrow.

You Are

You have spent years making Microsoft 365 actually work at scale, not just turning features on, but architecting governance, automation, and workflows that hold up when 30,000 people depend on them daily. You understand that the hardest part is not deploying Teams or SharePoint, it is making sure the platform does not become a sprawling mess six months later when every department has spun up their own workflows without guardrails.

You write PowerShell and Python scripts that save hours of manual work. You build Power Platform solutions that solve real problems, not demos that look good in a deck. When someone mentions Microsoft Graph, you already know which API endpoints you would call and why. You have opinions on tenant governance, data residency, and lifecycle policies because you have seen what happens when those things are ignored.

Emerging tech like Copilot and AI-powered productivity tools excite you, not because they are shiny, but because you can see the actual use cases and the governance challenges that come with them. You ask the right questions before rolling something out. You push back when a request does not account for security, compliance, or long-term maintainability. At Synopsys, you will work on a global collaboration platform that directly impacts how engineers, researchers, and teams get work done every day.

What You'll Be Doing

Architect, govern, and enhance Microsoft 365 services including Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Power Platform, Power BI, and Microsoft Graph integrations across a global enterprise environment

Build automation solutions using PowerShell, Python, Microsoft Graph APIs, and Power Platform to eliminate manual work, improve user experience, and scale operational efficiency

Lead deployment, governance, and adoption strategies for Microsoft Copilot and AI-powered productivity services, partnering with business stakeholders to identify real-world use cases

Define and maintain platform governance frameworks, lifecycle policies, and technical standards for collaboration tools, ensuring security, compliance, and operational sustainability

Support SharePoint Online migration initiatives using ShareGate, including planning, execution, and post-migration validation

Serve as technical escalation for complex Microsoft 365 issues, leading root-cause analysis and implementing long-term fixes that prevent recurrence

Partner with security, compliance, and infrastructure teams to ensure Microsoft 365 services meet enterprise data protection, regulatory requirements, and Synopsys security policies

The Impact You Will Have

Enable 30,000 employees globally to collaborate securely and efficiently through well-governed, scalable Microsoft 365 services

Reduce operational overhead and manual effort through automation solutions that streamline repetitive tasks and improve platform reliability

Accelerate adoption of AI-powered productivity tools like Copilot by establishing governance, best practices, and stakeholder confidence in new technologies

Prevent platform sprawl and security risks by implementing governance frameworks that balance user flexibility with enterprise control

Improve incident resolution time and platform stability by building sustainable solutions and mentoring teams on technical best practices

Drive modernization of collaboration workflows, enabling teams to leverage Power Platform, Microsoft Graph, and low-code solutions to solve business problems faster

Shape the technical roadmap for enterprise productivity platforms, influencing how Synopsys invests in and deploys collaboration technologies

What You'll Need

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience

5+ years supporting enterprise collaboration and productivity platforms at scale

Deep technical expertise with Microsoft 365 services including Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Power Platform, Power BI, and Microsoft Graph

Strong experience building automation using PowerShell, Python, and Microsoft Graph APIs to solve operational and user experience challenges

Proven ability to architect, implement, and govern enterprise collaboration platforms with a focus on security, compliance, and scalability

Experience leading technical initiatives across distributed teams and geographies, with minimal supervision

Experience with Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, or enterprise AI platforms is a strong plus

Microsoft certifications related to Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Azure, Security, or Copilot technologies are a plus

Who You Are

You can explain a complex governance tradeoff to a business stakeholder in two sentences without losing the technical nuance or oversimplifying the risk

You troubleshoot by asking the right questions first, not by guessing, and you document what you learn so the next person does not have to start from scratch

You mentor engineers and administrators by sharing what works and what does not, based on real experience, not theory

You balance user needs with platform sustainability, knowing when to say yes, when to say not yet, and when to propose a better alternative

You stay current on Microsoft 365 and AI developments because you want to understand what is actually useful, not just what is new

You work across time zones and cultures comfortably, adjusting your communication style to make sure the message lands no matter who is on the other end

The Team You'll Be Part Of

You will be part of the Global Digital Workplace and Collaboration Engineering team responsible for delivering secure, scalable, and innovative Microsoft 365 services across Synopsys. The team drives enterprise productivity solutions, platform governance, automation, and AI adoption, enabling employees worldwide to collaborate effectively and work more efficiently.
