What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Enabling enterprise IT strategy development, annual planning, and multi-year roadmaps in partnership with senior leaders.
  • Translating strategic priorities into actionable portfolio plans, execution frameworks, and operating rhythms.
  • Designing, implementing, and operating portfolio governance frameworks—steering committees, review forums, and escalation mechanisms.
  • Defining and managing portfolio-level metrics for delivery health, financial performance, value realization, and risk management.
  • Leading Financial Accountability & Control (FAC) across the IT portfolio, including budget planning, forecasting, and spend tracking.
  • Driving budget and investment optimization, prioritization, and trade-off decisions aligned to strategic outcomes.
  • Supporting M&A and divestiture initiatives, including integration, separation planning, and portfolio-level risk and cost management.
  • Producing executive-ready dashboards, reports, and presentations for senior leadership forums.
  • Providing strategic portfolio support across global and regional IT teams, ensuring consistency in governance and financial discipline.

What You’ll Need:

  • MS/MBA or an advanced degree (preferred).
  • 15+ years of experience in program management, portfolio management, IT strategy, or operations.
  • Expertise in portfolio governance models, financial management, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Proficiency in executive-level reporting, metrics, and performance management.
  • Experience with large-scale enterprise transformations, including M&A or divestitures.
  • Strong analytical, financial modeling, and storytelling capabilities.
  • Familiarity with portfolio and delivery tools (e.g., Jira, PPM platforms, financial systems).
  • Experience partnering with Finance, FP&A, and Corporate Strategy teams.
  • Ability to influence senior leaders without direct authority.

The team is responsible for driving enterprise-level strategy, governance, and portfolio management, partnering closely with IT, Finance, and regional leaders. Together, you will enable transparency, accountability, and successful delivery across a diverse portfolio of initiatives, supporting Synopsys’ mission to innovate and lead in technology.
