What You’ll Be Doing:

• Define and scale standardized front-end, design implementation, and verification methodologies across the IP Group to improve productivity, power, performance, area (PPA), and overall quality.
• Lead the strategy and deployment of Standard Flows and reusable design environments for advanced IP portfolios, including PCIe, DDR, Ethernet, UCIe, and emerging interface technologies.
• Drive enterprise-level alignment by partnering with diverse IP teams and enabling adoption of best practices that address evolving customer and industry requirements.
• Inspire and develop senior technical leaders, empowering global teams to consistently deliver with excellence, innovation, and accountability.
• Represent Synopsys as a senior technical leader in customer engagements, industry forums, standards bodies, and conferences.
• Advance operational excellence through automation, infrastructure modernization, and AI-driven optimization of EDA toolchains.
• Develop strategic roadmaps and workforce strategies that shape the future of methodology and infrastructure across the IP organization.

What You’ll Need:

• Bachelor’s degree with 20+ years of experience, or an advanced degree with 18+ years, in semiconductor R&D, EDA, IP development, or system design.
• Demonstrated expertise in architecting and deploying large-scale EDA platforms and design methodologies.
• Deep knowledge of RTL design, RTL-to-GDSII flows, multi-die design/signoff, and advanced process technologies.
• Strong understanding of timing, power, DFT, IR/EM, ESD, thermal analysis, CFD/FEM, and multiphysics workflows.
• Hands-on experience with PCIe, DDR, Ethernet, AMBA, UFS, 3DIC, and next-generation interface technologies.
• Operational experience managing EDA platforms, regression automation, and cloud-based environments.
• Proven leadership, managing global organizations of 50+ engineers, including budgeting and vendor strategy.
