We are looking for Test & Validation, Staff Engineer to join the design intent testing team for STA & ECO.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of product validation team to qualify tools with customer flows across the technology, working closely with R&D and customers to solve complex technical challenges in areas of static timing analysis. Through innovative techniques and ideas, you will help enable customers to accurately validate and deploy these technologies on their high-performance designs.
Main Responsibilities
- Will drive quality improvement effort by understanding customer design methodologies/flows and creating in-house designs mimicking customer flows and use cases.
- Perform in-depth customer incoming root cause analysis to understand the product weak areas and hot spots and execute proactive testing to reduce customer incoming thereby improving product quality
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as R&D, Product Engineering, Field and Customers, recommend improvements in implementation and validation.
- Use product expertise to provide technical recommendations, identify, diagnose and troubleshoot issues and propose solutions to ensure quality and readiness of the product/solution for customer deployment.
- Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
Key Qualifications
- The ideal candidate should be a self-motivated individual with deep domain knowledge in Static Timing Analysis & ECO.
- Knowledge of Power Analysis Flow, Parasitic Extraction Flow, Noise Delay and Glitch Analysis Flow is a plus.
- BSEE or equivalent and a minimum of 5 years of related experience or MSEE or equivalent and a minimum of 3 years of related experience.
- Synopsys PrimeTime, ECO and physical design closure experience is a bonus.
- Proficient in software and scripting skills (Perl, Tcl, Python).
- Exceptional Debugging skills.
- Team player and Excellent Communication skills.
- Prior experience/exposure to Flow Test & Validation is a bonus
