At Synopsys, we’re at the core of innovations that are redefining industries — from silicon to system software. As part of this global mission, TPT focuses on one of the most critical transformations of our time: the shift to software-defined vehicles.

Modern cars are no longer just machines — they’re distributed, connected, real-time systems on wheels. Testing these systems requires more than just checking code. It requires smart tooling that bridges simulation, virtualization, and vehicle integration.

With TPT, we enable automotive developers to test embedded software across all levels — from the first unit test to complex full-vehicle scenarios. Whether it’s ADAS, e-mobility, or OTA functionality, TPT helps turn innovative ideas into road-ready reality.

The Team

We’re a small, fast-moving team based in Berlin, building what’s already one of the world’s best test tools for embedded systems — and pushing it even further.

TPT is used to test everything from software units to full vehicle systems. We develop agile, use modern testing technologies, and aim to take virtualization and digital twins to the next level.

If you want real impact, deep tech, and a product that matters — this is the place.

In your new role you will:

  • Develop new features of TPT with high quality requirements
  • Collaborate with peers across product teams and field experts to develop & maintain best-in-class solutions for our customers

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

  • MS or PhD degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or similar
  • Experience in a professional SW development role
  • Solid programming skills in an object-oriented language (Java experience a plus), ideally in tool development
  • Good programming skills in Python or C
  • Experience in cloud computing and containerization technologies would be great to have

Personal Attributes:

  • Favor thorough understanding over empirical approaches
  • Driven by enthusiasm and work ethic rather than supervision
  • Play for the team and don't mind getting your hands dirty in case all hands are needed
  • Strong desire to learn and explore new technologies

What can you expect from us?

We develop tools that our customers use to create better software, faster. This means to be at the forefront of enabling customers with unique simulation and testing software. Do you want to be part of this story? We can offer:

  • Great design freedom for innovation in the development of outstanding simulation solutions
  • A lot of flexibility in how you work to allow for an optimal work/life balance
  • All the benefits of a global company with the spirit of an agile team
  • A competitive salary, share purchase program, bonus and pension scheme

At Synopsys, we want talented people of every background to feel valued and supported to do their best work. Synopsys considers all applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, military veteran status, or disability.
