What You'll Be Doing:
- Work closely with the MAPDL development team to test, validate, and benchmark AI agent capabilities for Ansys MAPDL simulation workflows.
- Transform traditional GUI-based simulation workflows into AI/LLM-driven workflows through prompt engineering and intelligent automation.
- Support simulation workflow validation, error handling, model abstraction, and model simplification.
- Evaluate how AI agents can support simulation model validation, live solution monitoring, troubleshooting, and intelligent workflow automation.
- Contribute to intelligent simulation diagnostics, input model checking, live and post-run observability, error detection, and hot-spot diagnosis.
- Evaluate third-party AI tools and APIs, such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot, or similar platforms.
- Collaborate with MAPDL development teams and ACE teams across multiple geographies.
- Help drive Synopsys-Ansys innovation efforts by improving AI agent capabilities for engineering simulation workflows.
What You'll Need:
- Currently pursuing a BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Strong motivation to learn new simulation and AI technologies.
- Strong interest in AI/LLM-based prompt engineering, agentic workflows, and application automation.
- Proven ability to overcome obstacles and drive projects to completion.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and geographies.
- Excellent communication skills and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
