You Are:

You are an experienced Analog & Mixed Signal (A&MS) Design Engineer with a passion for cutting-edge technology and a knack for solving complex problems. With over 5 years of experience in custom design, you possess a deep understanding of semiconductor fabrication processes and MOSFET fundamentals. You excel at writing reports and presentations, and your English communication skills are top-notch. As a dedicated team player, you are self-motivated, humble, honest, and always eager to learn. Familiarity with layout/schematic entry tools like Cadence and Synopsys, as well as scripting languages such as cshell, python, perl, or tcl, is a plus. You are ready to collaborate with a global team, contributing your expertise to ensure the success of high-bandwidth interface designs.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Modeling the full path of D2D PHY design and performing top-level simulations for high-bandwidth interface designs, including transmitter, receiver, channel simulation, and bandwidth analysis.
  • Analyzing and verifying timing jitter of the full PHY path to ensure the design meets all performance and reliability requirements.
  • Collaborating closely with architecture, digital, and circuit design teams to ensure robust timing quality across the design with sufficient margins for operation.
  • Joining the lab team to bring up and correlate measurements with simulations, validating measurement methodologies, and proposing design enhancements.
  • Conducting design reviews across global teams and managing workflow, tasks, and design documentation.
  • Working with place and route engineers to integrate analog layouts into the top level and collaborating with the package team to ensure top die and package integration.
  • Optimizing performance on power and signal integrity in collaboration with the circuit team.
  • Participating in building and enhancing the design flow for faster, higher-quality design processes.
  • Possibly joining research programs to implement new ideas for future products and flows.

  • Enhancing the performance and reliability of PHY designs by analyzing and verifying timing jitter.
  • Contributing to the overall quality and success of the design through close collaboration with various design teams.
  • Bringing innovative solutions to the lab team, validating methodologies, and enhancing design quality.
  • Facilitating knowledge sharing and continuous improvement through comprehensive design reviews and documentation.
  • Driving integration efforts to achieve seamless analog layout and package integration.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Electronic and Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Science, Automation and Control, Mechatronic Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in custom design.
  • Strong understanding of basic semiconductor fabrication processes and MOSFET fundamentals.
  • Proficiency in writing reports and delivering presentations.
  • Excellent English communication skills.
