You are:

As a Senior UI Engineer, you will work with R&D and UX teams to create sophisticated web applications and user interfaces with exceptional user experience. Technical skills are a given for this role, we also prize initiative, independence, and attention to detail 

What you will be doing:

• Collaborating with cross functional teams to help shape how our users interact with our next generation GenAI suite of products 
• Architecting and developing sophisticated frontend applications using JavaScript/TypeScript, with a strong emphasis on creating intuitive, beautiful and engaging user experiences 
• Working alongside the GenAI R&D team to tightly integrate the UI frontend with the AI backend 
• Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members

• Enhancing the performance and capabilities of Synopsys' AI-driven products and solutions. 
• Driving innovation in AI technologies that power various applications, from automotive to healthcare. 
• Owning the interface between Synopsys customers and their next generation AI products 

What you will need:

• Minimum master’s degree or bachelor’s with 5+ years of experience in web application development 
• Hands on experience in HTML/5, CSS/4, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python 
• Solid knowledge of HTTP/2, REST API’s (creating and consuming), node and variation format and data communication in web interfaces. 
• Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks and libraries such as React, Angular, or Vue.js is a big plus as is experience in developing standalone application embedded in Electron or QT 
• Knowledge of unit testing frameworks like Jest, Mocha 
• Widget infrastructure and development
