Job Description

Synopsys is a worldwide leading supplier of semiconductor IP used by our customers to build SOCs (Systems-On-Chip). The product portfolio includes IP components and subsystems for Security, USB, DDR, CPU cores, processor peripherals, embedded memories, and many others.

Security IP solutions include a range of cryptography cores, security protocol accelerators, embedded HW security modules, secure boot, cryptography middleware as well as content protection IP. These integrated solutions enable efficient silicon design and the highest level of security to help prevent a wide range of evolving threats in devices such as tampering, side channels attacks, and fault-injection attacks.

The Security IP group is looking for a R&D Manager who will lead the development of complex IP components and subsystems for our customer’s leading-edge security needs. These products are found in some of the most advanced, high tech devices today in areas like automotive, networking, mobile, and IoT applications. The Security IP group is a dedicated team advancing the best in security technologies to challenge the frequent headlines noting the lack of security in today’s embedded systems.

Key responsibilities
  • Lead the development and verification of Root of Trust products
  • Develop product design and verification strategies
  • Resource Management of an R&D team that include HW and SW design and verification
  • Project planning and KPI tracking
  • Communication of project status to upper management
  • Stay up to date with latest developments in the domain of embedded security

Requirements
  • Significant proven expertise in design or verification of digital hardware IP components
  • Experience on project management and resource management
  • Good knowledge about IC Design flows and excellent problem solving and debugging skills
  • Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
  • Familiar with embedded software development in C
  • B.Sc. or Masters in EE or Computer Science with 8+ years of experience
  • Desirable: Knowledge of Security and Cryptographic Protocols
