You Are:
You are an experienced ESD design engineer with a profound understanding of FinFET and GAA technologies. You have a deep knowledge of layout techniques and are adept at designing, verifying, and applying ESD gold libraries for advanced technology nodes. Your ability to work with international teams and standardize subcomponents demonstrates your collaborative spirit and pragmatic approach. You are passionate about translating ESD silicon results into future requirements and exploring new simulation methodologies. Your keen eye for identifying automation opportunities in the design cycle sets you apart. You possess strong communication skills and thrive in a global team environment, always eager to learn and explore new domains.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Owning and managing several ESD gold libraries from 16nm down to 2nm and smaller.
- Designing, verifying, and applying ESD gold libraries to various Mixed Signal IPs, including GPIO, eUSB, and high-speed interfaces across multiple technology nodes.
- Interacting with international teams to gather requirements and standardize subcomponents, focusing on smart re-use and simplicity.
- Translating ESD silicon results into future requirements for next-generation ESD gold libraries.
- Reviewing ESD PERC results and identifying areas for improvement.
- Exploring new ESD simulation methodologies and identifying opportunities for automation in the design cycle.

- Enhancing the reliability and performance of Synopsys' ESD protection solutions.
- Contributing to the development of cutting-edge ESD technologies that support advanced semiconductor designs.
- Ensuring the robustness of Mixed Signal IPs through meticulous ESD design and verification.
- Driving the standardization and smart re-use of ESD subcomponents across global teams.
- Influencing the future direction of ESD gold libraries through data-driven insights and innovative methodologies.
- Improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the ESD design cycle through automation and new simulation techniques.
What You’ll Need:
- In-depth knowledge of FinFET and smaller layout techniques (DRC/LVS/ERC/PERC clean).
- Experience in analog circuit simulation and extraction for small circuits.
- Affinity and experience with ESD-focused design.
- Positive personality with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work in a large global team with specialists in multiple disciplines.
- Eagerness to learn and openness to exploring new topics and domains.
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience.
