We are looking for an experienced Technical Program Manager to be part of our AI Software team developing full Software solution for Synopsys’s ARC Neural Network Processor IP.

This role is available for multiple locations such as Eindhoven, Leuven, Aachen.

The Team You’ll Be A Part Of: 
You will be part of Processor Solutions AI Software Team which is responsible for developing and enhancing our AI Software NPX product families used for AI application acceleration in customer SoCs. This team is at the forefront of AI technology, working on projects that drive innovation and shape the future of smart devices. Your leadership will be crucial in working with a global team of talented engineers, fostering innovation, and driving the successful delivery of high-performance, high quality software solutions.

You Are: 
You have a deep understanding of embedded software development and hardware/software co-design principals. You are knowledgeable in computer architecture, domain specific hardware, machine learning, deep learning, software development, and/or CPU or NPU or GPU technology. 

Your technical expertise is complemented by your outstanding project management, communication and presentation skills, making you a strategical member of our team. 

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Lead projects in both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
• Drive and track software releases for new hardware or software features.
• Provide Cross-Functional leadership to a geographically distributed team of software development and verification engineers, including planning, scheduling, and tracking execution of product releases.
• Work with System and HW architecture and development teams, to ensure schedule alignment.
• Present project status to multi-functional teams as well as senior management.
• Manage risks and resolve issues affecting release scope, schedule, and quality
• Work with internal stakeholders, customers and manage execution of product releases.
• Build a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation and the adoption of the best software development practices. 
• Drive the successful development and delivery of our AI Software tools for Synopsys’s Neural Network Processor IP products that are critical to advanced System-on-Chip (SOC) designs.
• Ensure high-quality, secure, and scalable software solutions that meet customer needs and industry standards.
• Enhance the efficiency and productivity of the software engineering team through effective leadership and process optimization.
• Foster a collaborative and innovative environment that encourages technical excellence and creative problem-solving.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across various functions, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  

What You’ll Need:

• BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, with 10+ overall years of industry experience in software engineering, including 3+ years in technical project/program management roles with demonstrated expertise.
• Strong communication and presentation skills for diverse technical and non-technical audiences.
• Knowledge of agile methodologies and the best-in-class project management tools.

• Track record of understanding and implementing the foundational program management skills; risk management, tracking and monitoring, meeting facilitation, domain expertise, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Track record of leading global projects and successful releases with short cadences.
• Proficiency in program management tools such as JIRA, Confluence and Big Picture.
• Technical background with computer architecture, domain specific hardware, machine learning, deep learning, software development, and/or CPU or NPU or GPU technology.
