SerDes, serial link transceiver products, are essential for high-speed chip-to-chip communications and support a variety of data rates and standards, such as USB, HDMI, MIPI, PCI Express (PCIe), and Ethernet. They are integral components in widely adopted devices and systems across markets including Mobile, Automotive, Cloud Computing, High-Performance Computing (HPC), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet-of-Things (IoT), 5G, and Storage.

As part of our fast-growing analog and mixed-signal R&D team, you will contribute to the development of high-speed analog integrated circuits using advanced FinFET/GAA process nodes. This role involves interacting with a dynamic, global, multicultural, and cross-functional design team.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Define and plan analog design activities.
  • Break down analog design processes into tasks.
  • Estimate effort and lead time.
  • Supervise and actively participate in the development and validation of analog circuits, considering electrical specifications and reliability constraints.
  • Delegate tasks to an external team and coordinate/track their activities.
  • Develop the team through hiring and training new members.

Key Qualifications:

  • Comprehensive understanding of CMOS technologies.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Effective interpersonal skills – teamwork, leadership, and motivation.
  • Familiarity with project management principles – effort estimation, milestones, critical path, risk analysis.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Solid experience in analog and mixed-signal block design, preferably related to high-speed SERDES (Drivers, Receivers, Clocking, PLL, DLL, CDR).
  • Familiarity with at least one IC design package.
  • Familiarity with UNIX operating systems.

Preferred Experience:

  • Prior industry experience in similar roles is highly valued.
  • Knowledge of analog CMOS circuit design, typically acquired through a specialization in Electronics at the university level, is preferred.
