You Are:
You are an Applications Engineer with a solid understanding of Static Timing Analysis (STA) and a passion for pushing the boundaries of chip design. With a background that includes multiple chip tapeouts at 16nm or below nodes, you bring expertise in timing closure, eco flows, and methodology. Your hands-on experience with Synopsys's PrimeTime tool and knowledge of timing corners, process variations, and signal integrity issues sets you apart. You excel in both collaborative and independent environments, showcasing excellent verbal and written communication skills. You are proactive, detail-oriented, and driven by a desire to enable your customers' success through innovative solutions.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Driving increased usage of PrimeTime in both pre-sale and post-sale capacities.
- Conducting competitive benchmarks and evaluations to demonstrate product superiority.
- Providing training and support to customers to ensure successful tapeouts.
- Collaborating with R&D, marketing, and sales teams to enhance product features.
- Engaging with customers to gather feedback and drive product improvements.
- Articulating technical solutions to both design teams and management.

- Enhancing customer satisfaction through expert support and training.
- Driving product adoption and increasing usage of Synopsys tools.
- Contributing to successful chip tapeouts and reducing time-to-market for customers.
- Providing valuable feedback to R&D for continuous product improvement.

- Building long-term relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
What You’ll Need:
- Solid domain knowledge in Static Timing Analysis (STA).
- Experience with multiple chip tapeouts at 16nm or below nodes.
- Proficiency in timing closure, eco flows, and methodology.
- Hands-on experience with Synopsys PrimeTime.
- Understanding of timing corners, process variations, and signal integrity issues.
- BSEE or equivalent with 5+ years of experience, or MSEE with 3+ years of experience.

As part of the applications engineering team, you will support the industry-leading Static Timing Analysis tool, Primetime. You will work closely with users, customers, and multiple internal organizations like R&D, marketing, and sales to ensure that our customers achieve their design goals.
