You Are:
Synopsys is seeking a talented and experienced Communications Manager to join our dynamic communications team, focusing on employee communications. This role plays a critical part in overseeing key communication tools, developing comprehensive communications plans and messages, and supporting pivotal employee events. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with excellent writing skills and a proven track record in corporate communications. We’re looking for someone energized by leading complex, high-priority communications initiatives from start to finish—consulting, strategic planning, creating content, and executing—to inform and engage our most important stakeholders, our employees!
What You’ll Be Doing
- Oversight of Key Communication Tools: Manage and optimize the use of our internal communication tools (e.g., intranet, digital signage, Teams) to ensure engaging and effective sharing of information.
- Develop Communications Plans: Create and implement strategic, integrated communication strategies to support various business objectives and initiatives, enhancing employee engagement and in alignment with our business goals.
- Craft Communications Messages: Develop clear, compelling, and consistent messages for a variety of audiences and channels, including executive communications, company announcements, and internal campaigns.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive and aligned internal communications.
- Feedback and Analytics: Monitor, evaluate, and report on the effectiveness of communication strategies and tools. Utilize feedback and analytics to continuously improve communications practices.
Who You Are:
- The ideal candidate will have 5 -8 years of experience in corporate communications, and a specific passion for employee communications.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft messages that resonate across all levels of the organization
- Strong project management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- High level of attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Proficiency with communication tools and platforms (e.g., SharePoint, Staffbase or similar email distribution tool, MS Teams)
- Experience in event planning and coordination is a plus.
