You Are:

You are a seasoned leader in the field of electrical engineering, with a passion for post-silicon validation and a deep understanding of high-speed SerDes technology. With over a decade of hands-on experience, you excel in leading teams to ensure the highest standards of quality and efficiency in validation processes. You are adept at developing and executing complex test plans, and your expertise in debugging using advanced tools like high-speed oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers sets you apart. Your strong scripting skills enable you to automate tests effectively, and you have a proven track record of managing resources and schedules to meet tight deadlines. You thrive in collaborative environments, frequently interacting with internal and external stakeholders to drive project success. Your excellent communication skills and leadership experience make you an ideal candidate to mentor and guide a team of engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.


What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Lead a small agile team of 2-3 engineers responsible for post-silicon electrical validation and debug on mixed-signal PCIe SerDes IP
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members
  • Oversee and contribute to the development of evaluation scripts, validating circuit block behavior, evaluating results, and debugging issues in an R&D test lab environment
  • Manage schedules and resources to ensure timely and efficient execution of validation activities
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to develop test plans and analysis
  • Continuously improve validation processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness

What You’ll Need:

  • B.S./M.S. in Electrical/Computer Engineering
  • 8+ years of experience in silicon validation of high-speed SerDes
  • Experience with script-based test automation and strong scripting skills in general
  • Hands-on debug experience with high-speed oscilloscopes, BERTs, Spectrum Analyzers, and Network Analyzers
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience with issue and task tracking through Jira/Confluence/Kanban
  • Experience with software version control systems such as Perforce
