You Are:

You are a highly motivated R&D Software Engineer with a background in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science. You excel in problem-solving, coding in C or C++, and have strong academic performance in relevant fields. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are eager to work on challenging, innovative projects in the EDA industry.


What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Designing, developing, optimizing, and troubleshooting software for integrated circuits.
  • Engaging in C++ architecture design, multithreaded optimization, and debug.
  • Implementing distributed processing and memory optimization on terabyte datasets.
  • Applying VLSI design and circuit analysis concepts.
  • Collaborating with a high-powered R&D team in Sunnyvale, Portland, or Boston.
  • Ensuring the correct operation of chips used worldwide.

PrimeTime is the market dominant tool for Static Timing Analysis (STA). 95% of the all chips designed in the world use PrimeTime for final timing verification (sign-off). Our service is so vital to our customers success that we are in the critical path of their projects and collaborate with them to achieve bleeding edge silicon daily. To deliver our solution we need to draw on expertise circuit analysis, algorithms and high-performance computing techniques to blend them into a solution that can address the ever-expanding needs of chip design driving the progress of the entire high-tech industry.


What You’ll Need:

  • PhD or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science, with 4+ years of relevant experience.
  • Problem-solving and creative thinking skills.
  • Proficiency in C or C++ coding. - Ability to complete significant projects successfully.
  • Strong academic background in mathematics, digital systems, and electronics.
