You Are:
You are a seasoned ASIC Physical Design Engineer with a strong background in physical design and a genuine passion for innovation. You thrive in a collaborative environment, where your expertise in PNR, Extraction, Timing, and Physical Verification can shine. With over 6 years of hands-on experience, you have a proven track record of contributing to successful project tape-outs. Your understanding of the full design cycle from RTL to GDSII, combined with your solid engineering knowledge of IC design, sets you apart. You possess excellent problem-solving and communication skills, and your proficiency in software and scripting languages like Perl, Tcl, and Python complements your technical prowess. You are always eager to learn and adapt, and your knowledge of testchip design is a valuable asset. If you are ready to take on new challenges and make a significant impact in the world of semiconductor design, this role is for you.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive the physical design process from RTL to GDSII.
- Executing place and route (PNR), extraction, and timing analysis to ensure design integrity.
- Conducting physical verification to meet design specifications and industry standards.
- Optimizing design methodologies and implementation flows for deep submicron designs.
- Utilizing software and scripting skills to automate design tasks and improve efficiency.
- Contributing to project tape-outs and ensuring successful delivery of high-quality designs.

What You’ll Need:
- MSEE with 6+ years of physical design experience.
- Strong understanding of PNR, Extraction, Timing, and Physical Verification.
- Intimate knowledge of the full design cycle from RTL to GDSII.
- Solid engineering understanding of IC design concepts and methodologies for deep submicron design.
- Proficiency in software and scripting languages such as Perl, Tcl, and Python.
- Knowledge of testchip design is a plus.
