You Are:

You are a seasoned engineering professional with deep expertise in high-speed digital design and a passion for tackling sophisticated technical challenges in advanced semiconductor workflows. You thrive in fast-paced environments, quickly grasping complex problems and developing effective solutions that drive customer success. With a background in VLSI design and a comprehensive understanding of static timing analysis, you skillfully navigate the intricacies of timing signoff, signal integrity, and power analysis. Your extensive experience enables you to support and train customers, ensuring their designs meet stringent quality and performance standards.

You are a proactive collaborator, able to independently manage multiple projects and customer engagements while maintaining a keen eye for detail. Your communication skills, both written and verbal, enable you to translate technical concepts into actionable insights for diverse audiences, from engineers to executives. You are comfortable with scripting languages and UNIX environments, using your technical toolkit to troubleshoot and enhance customer workflows. Above all, you are driven by curiosity, continuous learning, and a desire to make a tangible impact on both customer outcomes and Synopsys’ business growth. What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Providing expert support and training to customers on PrimeTime, PrimeClosure, and PrimeShield, ensuring optimal use and maximum productivity.  
  • Independently coordinating and supporting multiple customer designs through tape-out, verifying designs meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Applying advanced knowledge of VLSI design, noise analysis, and voltage drop effects to solve complex SoC challenges using industry-leading CAD tools.
  • Identifying and communicating new opportunities, technical needs, and workflow enhancements to both Sales and Product Development teams.
  • Demonstrating and promoting new solutions to drive increased software usage and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborating with Sales to assist in growing market presence and expanding customer relationships.
  • Working directly with Product Development to provide feedback and contribute to continuous software improvement.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 12 years of experience, or a Master’s degree with at least 8 years of experience.
  • In-depth understanding of timing, power, statistical and electromigration characterization, and signal integrity in advanced SoC design.
  • Proficiency with static timing analysis tools and path-level correlation methodologies.
  • Strong scripting skills in Perl, Tcl, or Python, and advanced knowledge of UNIX operating systems for troubleshooting and automation.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop utilities and tools that enhance customer workflows and resolve technical issues.

The Team You’ll Be A Part Of:

You will join our Customer Success Group (CSG) in Hsinchu, partnering closely with fellow Application Engineers, Sales, and Product Development teams. The team is dedicated to enabling customer success by delivering expert technical support, driving adoption of Synopsys’ timing signoff and ECO solutions, and fostering a collaborative environment where innovation and continuous improvement are at the forefront.
