Synopsys Inc. is looking for an intern to work on the industry's leading and fastest emulation system, Zebu Server, which offers the industry's largest design capacity, supporting billion gates based on the most advanced high-density FPGA technology.

Position Overview:

As an intern, you will focus on routing and machine learning optimization challenges. You will contribute to the design and development of the next generation emulation backend technologies used in Zebu software tools. Your responsibilities will include innovating solutions to challenging practical problems, developing software programs based on selected innovative ideas, and demonstrating their effectiveness through benchmarking designs and result comparisons.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing an MS/Ph.D. Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• EDA knowledge (place-and-route, static timing analysis, synthesis, or timing closure).
• Familiarity with machine learning techniques and their applications in optimization problems.
• Experience with C++ programming in a Linux environment (coursework or projects).
• Knowledge of efficient algorithm and data structure design is a plus.
