Job Description
-Job Description:
The Solution Engineer (SE) of PDK group within Synopsys EDAG, Design Technology Group (EDAG) will be involved in the following activities:
- Focused on iPDK development and foundry qualification.
- Interface with foundry partners to build and deliver iPDKs for advanced process technologies.
- Work with the marketing and sales teams to drive and implement a PDK deployment strategy for rapid market adoption.
- Involves interactions with foundry partners to understand the physical design rules constraints, devices implementation, and models for accurate implementation at the layout and schematic level.
- Interact with R&D team, and understand specific tool requirements of schematic or netlist-driven design to develop foundry technology kits that helps designers realize the full design potential.
-Support product teams to investigate user requirements, solve complex issues
-Co-work with field teams to develop solutions for both pre- and post-sales customers
Requirements:
BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Electronic Design Automation, or Electrical Engineering
Experience and proficiency in computer languages: Tcl and/or Python. Perl and Tk extensions for graphical interface creation are a plus.
Experience and knowledge in Analog/Mixed Signal design and/or PDK.
Prior experience in a similar role is a plus.
Ability to consistently meet deadlines, and work both independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills in Mandarin/English and the ability to multi-task essential for success in this role.
Knowledge of analog design environment, physical verification, and circuit simulation tools is a plus.
Knowledge of layout considerations in analog/mixed-signal designs is a plus.
