The Job is for a senior engineering role in Custom Router R&D team of Synopsys Custom Compiler. The candidate has to take technical responsibilities including feature development, code review, designing software architecture. To work with the broader team, he is expected to have good communication, coordination, and partnership skills. The expertise in EDA area is necessary and better to have physical design automation relating experience.
Qualifications:
  1. MS/Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science
  2. 5+ years of physical design automation related experience in EDA industry
  3. Strong programming skills in C++/TCL/Python, proficient in data structure, algorithm, large scale software development
  4. Obsessed with creating clean code, but not hesitant about legacy code
  5. Bright, willing to share and teach
Extra plus:
  1. Familiar with advanced design rule and how the checking works
  2. Strong organizational skills for engineering projects
  3. Good communication and presentation skills
