You Are:

You are a highly motivated individual with a passion for integrated circuit (IC) design and physical implementation. You possess a solid engineering foundation, with a deep understanding of the full design cycle from RTL to GDSII. Your expertise in high-performance digital design, low-power design, and high-speed clock design and distribution makes you a valuable asset to any team. With hands-on experience in complex design projects and a proven track record of contributing to successful tape-outs, you are adept at navigating the intricacies of timing closure, signal integrity, and physical verification. Your proficiency in software and scripting languages such as Perl, Tcl, and Python, combined with your knowledge of CAD automation methods, allows you to efficiently enhance physical design flows. You thrive in collaborative environments, effectively interfacing with larger product teams to understand design constraints and customer requirements. With at least three years of physical design experience, you are ready to take on new challenges and contribute to the growth of our innovative group.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Floor planning and developing timing constraints for complex IC designs.
  • Executing physical synthesis and formal verification processes.
  • Optimizing clock tree structures and managing routing and extraction tasks.
  • Ensuring timing closure and addressing signal integrity issues.
  • Conducting physical verification and design for manufacturability (DFM) checks.
  • Contributing to the development and enhancement of physical design flows for advanced technology nodes.
